Crown Harbor Board Secretary, Scott Sheppard, emailed Crown Harbor owners and residents on December 11, 2014 at 10:39 am.
"We have a major storm related mess on the NE corner of Queens. Two very large trees from the government property have fallen on our property. They have knocked down the fence, buried one of our resident's Honda, knocked over one of our streetlights, and are completely blocking that corner of Queens. Residents can still get out if they avoid that corner. The debris is not blocking any resident garages. We have contacted Associa Northern California to begin the cleanup and repair. A crew will be here fairly shortly. We are saving our receipts since this may involve a claim with the government, since it is their trees."

Crown Harbor Board President, Dave Eck, reported the damage to the Government Services Agency (GSA) on December 11, 2014 at 1:06 pm.
"I just got back from a meeting with chief engineer, Joe Mejeide. over at GSA labs.
They were not aware of the trees falling down, so we walked over to the site.
I thought it would be good to have someone on their side witness what was going on.
He was very concerned about the damage to the security fence and our property.
He was going to get someone from Oakland GSA to take a look and do an assessment.
So we have made contact with them, and they are aware of the problem."
